Installation & Notes

Installation requires no tools: remove old mats, insert new mats, and snap the clips in the driver's mat onto the existing attachment points in the footwell – done. The other three mats (front passenger, both rear) lie loose and do not require additional fastening.

A practical tip: the rubber granulate backing needs a few days to adapt to the Mustang's floor curvature. In the first week, the edges of the mats may stand up slightly – this will resolve itself through normal getting in and out of the vehicle. When installing for the first time, ensure that the clips on the driver's mat are properly engaged; otherwise, the mat could shift under the brake pedal.
