5th and 6th Generation Camaro
We primarily cover two generations: the 5th generation from 2010 to 2015 and the 6th generation from 2016 to 2024. Both look similar, but are technically based on different platforms. Therefore, parts are generally not interchangeable. Regarding engines, we cover the 3.6 V6 and the 6.2 V8, as well as the 2.0 Turbo for the 6th generation. For older Camaros, we source parts upon request.
Where Camaro parts often don't fit
- 6.2 V8: The 5th generation uses a different engine (LS3 or L99) than the 6th generation (LT1). The water pump and many attachments differ.
- Transmission: In the 5th generation SS, the engine is even linked to the transmission type. The manual version uses the LS3, while the automatic uses the L99.
- 3.6 V6: There were multiple engine variants here as well, with a change occurring during the 5th generation. We therefore always verify the water pump against the model year.
- Suspension: 5th generation control arms do not fit the 6th generation.
- Brakes: Depending on the engine and equipment package, different braking systems are installed.
How the VIN check works for your Camaro
Use "Request parts by VIN" to send us your 17-digit VIN and tell us what you need. We use this to determine the generation, engine, and configuration to find the correct part number. Where the VIN is not sufficient, we will ask for further details, such as a photo of the old part. You will then receive a firm offer with a final price including shipping and customs.
Some parts can be ordered directly here, while many are available upon request. If your part is not on the list, ask us anyway. We can also source items not currently in the shop.
