Compatible vehicles

According to the manufacturer, this rigid tow hitch fits the Ford F-150 from model year 2014 across all body styles – Regular Cab, SuperCab, SuperCrew. That covers many of the F-150 generations driven in Germany as imports. Still: US trucks are often sold in several trim lines and with different bumper and rear sections, and not every hitch mount is identical from year to year. Installation & notes

The hitch consists of the bracket with the bolted 2-hole flange ball and a square insert (52 × 52 mm according to the dimension drawing). The insert goes into the square receiver at the rear and is secured with a pin and clip. Mounting hardware and instructions are included. Whether the receiver on your F-150 matches, we check by VIN.

One point many people underestimate: whether the installation has to be registered depends on your vehicle – so check your vehicle papers beforehand, especially if your F-150 is registered in Germany with its own expert report or different towing capacity values. The towing capacity actually permitted for your vehicle can differ from the rating of the hitch, and in the end it is always what your papers say. If in doubt, ask your inspection authority before installation.

The mounting situation is a little different on every F-150 – especially if the rear has been modified before or another hitch system was fitted. Look at the receiver at the rear before installation and compare it with the instructions.
