FAQ

Does the motor fit my Thunderbird?
It is intended for the passenger door (front right) of the 1983–1986 Ford Thunderbird. Send us your VIN before you buy and we will check the fitment.

The motor hums but the window does not move. Will a new motor help?
If the gearbox in the motor is worn, yes. But the teeth on the window regulator in the door may also be damaged. Take a look with the door panel removed before you order.

Is the window regulator included?
No. You get the motor with gearbox and connecting cable. The regulator stays in the door.

How much work is the replacement?
The door panel has to come off. Secure the glass before loosening the motor so the regulator cannot run back uncontrolled.

How quickly will I get it?
One piece is in stock with us in Germany and ships right after your order; expect 1–3 business days. Need more? Just ask and we will source more.
