One platform, multiple braking systems
The Escalade, Silverado 1500, Tahoe, Suburban, and Avalanche are built on the same platform and share many parts. When it comes to the brakes, however, that commonality ends: depending on the engine, towing package, and equipment, GM installed different-sized rotors. A look at the model and year is therefore not enough — the VIN provides a definitive answer. What the family does share is the 6-lug hub with a 139.7 mm bolt pattern, with 329.95 mm typically found at the front.
Axle set or individual components
We carry rotors and ceramic pads individually and as complete sets per axle. For most, the set is the easier option: one package, perfectly matched, nothing forgotten. Those who only need pads because the rotors are still within spec can order them individually — it is worth measuring, as many rotors look better than they actually are. Ceramic is the quieter choice and keeps the wheels cleaner.
Front first, but check the rear too
The front axle handles the majority of the braking work and is usually due for replacement first. Check the rear axle anyway: the parking brake is located there as a separate small drum inside the "top hat" of the rotor. The shoes inside are not part of the rotor set but are only accessible while the rotor is off — the perfect moment to inspect them.
Why there is no price listed here
Because GM installed different systems in these model series depending on the engine and package. We will provide you with a quote as soon as the VIN confirms which rotor is on your vehicle — as a fixed price including shipping and customs.
